FBT Coupler also known as Fused Biconical Taper Splitter,is a device used in optical fiber systems with one or two input fibers and two out fibers. FBT Couplers can be divided into different ratios such as 50/50, if split is even, or
80/20, if 80% of the signal goes to one side and only 20% to the other. As a result of its great function, FBT Coupler is very important part in passive optical networks (PON). It can be Single Mode (1310/1490/1550nm) or Multimode (850nm). Cable diameter can be 0.9mm, 2.0mm, 3.0mm or it can be 250μm bare fiber. They can be Single Window, Dual Window and Triple window.Available configurations are 1x2 and 2x2 in split ratios of 50/50, 55/45, 60/40, 65/35, 70/30, 75/25, 80/20, 85/15, 90/10, 95/05 and 99/01. These couplers come without connectors for easy splicing and connectorization. connectorized couplers are also available with LC/UPC, LC/APC, SC/UPC, SC/APC. FC/UPC, FC/APC and ST/UPC.Common models include Bare fiber model, Steel tube model, ABS box model. All in stock.
